waiting for pok's call before i leave house.
we're going god-knows-where.
i think this lack of need to plan and just live life by the minute is pretty fun. never been a habit for me but now its just a lifestyle. just like being late, yes marissa? haha.
so yesterday i went for yummy lunch at crystal jade at vivo with my grandma, aunt and mum. the ambience there is really nice okay, not to mention the food. haha.
then i met marissa and we went off to marina to shop.
as always, i didnt get anything at all.
then i met up with ken and he was just as always, an idiot. i mean, we havent seen each other in ages and all he could say was "i miss bullying you" and he just goes all out. ahwell, so we sat in cartel and ate, waiting for terence, timothy and christine. spent quality time together. oh man, do i miss being treated like a male. rahhh, idiots.
so terence left and we stayed over at ken's house!
slept barely 3-4 hours i think.
and then at 6 plus we had to leave cos i had to get home before my mum leaves the house cos i didnt bring my keys! ohwell.

sick me today had to forgo my shopping trip with marissa. no to mention the rain that has ceased to stop eversince i first opened my eyes today.
and then i think i got a lil ditzy from the over-lazing.
i received a call at about 7pm from christine to ask where i was, and apparently i was supposed to be meeting ken and her for dinner in a very very short while. but i swear i heard it was tomorrow, not today! right? right.
urgh, i just hope my throat stops killing me.
cos my mum's walloping all the chocolate cake and all the yummy treats are beckoning me. and the only thing i can mouth right now, is strepsils.
pity me pleaseeee!!!

i'm back from milo!
okay actually i was back like in the first hour of yesterday.
we were supposed to have watched the semis and finals but as usual the stingy management cares more for their own money than for the happiness or benefit of us. whats new.
a quick sum up, we won 2 games (negeri sembilan & meleka), lost 2 games (terengannu & KL) and drew 1 (sarawak). we had both spectacular and disappointing performances. its pretty clear that we most probably would have entered semis if we were in the other group cos the finalists were terengannu and KL who kinda thrashed their opponents in semis. anyway KL beat terengannu in finals through flicks.
so like all trips, there was action and fun. yeah.
i miss my top most favourite malaysian players. there were many who were damn good really. yes i came back with regrets again. for not having enough guts to go take photo with some of them, unlike hitomi. haha.
i'm really missing the team, my roomies, and all the fun and nonsense.

came back at like the wee hours so some of us stayed over at weizhen's house. actually we planned to stay at delta for the night, and our plan to actually get hold of the lock worked. until weizhen's mum kinda spoilt it. hahaha but it was quite funny. so we went there and cooked maggi to eat! slept and breakfast when we woke up.
went home after that and a quick shower before going off to meet ivan, marissa, siyi, teresa and apparently jeremy for lunch. caught night in the museum after that. i couldnt keep my eyes open so i missed the first half i think. haha. and then gelare before heading home.
midnight mass after that, also could hardly keep awake.
christmas today started on a bad note.
but i guess things picked up at my gramps place.
i lost 11 bucks in mahjong today :(
against angie, jeremy and mark. i started off as one of the winners okay. until the third round, i lost everything. jeremy's really super funny. he's so like damien! who i might add was just a complete ass today. haha. angie's really disgusted by the fact that i think she's dating her 'brother'. ohwell.
food today was pretty good. fats fats fats.
was watching cats & dogs and then marcus and xavier came. really with those two, its hard to do anything i wanna do. ah but if they're happy then i'm happy.
i really need to get back all my energy.
but i wanna have all the fun possible before school begins.

thought i'd drop by before i go missing for the next 8 days.
i think i'm falling ill.
sneezing countless times, a sore throat and a heavy head.
yup, thats a definite then.
but its such a wrong timing really. wrong wrong wrong.
towned with the gang today!
first we ate at nydc, yummy mudpie and drinks.
then we headed to pepper lunch, steak and chicken combo!
then the others went to yoshi for more food while xinjin and i stayed there chatting and waiting for jaime to arrive and kelly to settle her issues over there.
finally, we went to watch the holiday.
yes this is my second time watching it. i watched it only a couple of days back with marissa and liyuan. but since the rest chipped in for my ticket this time, i just followed the flow.
came home, packed stuff (no quite done yet) and gobbled down 9 sushis. haha i do sound like i'm deprived of any source of food the next few days huh. but i am! of good food to say the least! ahwell.
i think i should go do my packing and get some sleep.
i'm like making an effort to wake up early to go to church.
and if anyone has to or wants to contact me. i'm still contactable through my mobile. so yeah. plus i'm pretty sure i'll be in for a chat since i'll practically be dying of boredom in the four walls of my dormitory.

its official : i'm spending xmas on a bus.
no matter how well we do, we'll still only leave on 25dec. for the first time since ever, i'm not anywhere near elated that we'll be able to stay to watch semis and finals.
jenny, our manager, went "so for the last two extra days IF we dont play well, we'll go sight seeing." wow i'm sure the sights in KL are breath taking. i'd rather sight see in singapore really. ah but whatever la.
our supposed tennis session didnt materialise today due to some problems. like firstly, marissa and hitomi were 43 minutes late. then the court booking had some problem to. so we landed up in jalan kayu having prata.
after that met up with syafizah, xinni and felissa to get their turf shoes. they took really long just to decide which shop to get the shoe that was available in every shop, and ended up spending less than 10 minutes getting it. but well.
i ate laksa!!!! it was YUMMILICIOUS. totally. (:
then we went to the arcade. felissa was really really nice today. haha. i spotted this really really cute penguin and she spent like more than 10 bucks getting it. so now we got NONO, our 4th roomie. (:
last training today.
we were so glad when after our warm up he told us to get our sticks. but we ended up doing physical after the whole training. it was pretty alright la.
of cos the question still lies in 'are we ready?'
well we'll find out in 3 days.
just a simple think through and we cannot lose the first match.
its against one of the weaker teams of our grouping and losing or even drawing would pretty much determine the outcome of the whole tournament. so looks like we dont have time to adapt to their pace of game. we've gotta go there and show them ours the minute we step onto the pitch.

i'm so tired!
why i'm awake so early?
cos abby chang's sitting here in my room doing maths.
anyhow, yesterday was a nice nice day.
went to the zoo and night safari with teresa, jess and abby! yay i havent been there for pretty long. and we had free passes and we could do everything for free, like the horse carriage! we wanted the elephant ride too but the weather denied the elephants from coming out.
then jess went off and the 3 of us headed to delta to join liyuan, limin and wanting for dinner. i think i just ate a whole lot yesterday. rahhh.
going out for a movie later with marissa and liyuan.
i suppose they'll be late, so i'm gonna be late too. haha.
the sense of accomplishment to get somewhere without any privileges and with one's true capability is so satisfying and i couldnt be happier. couldnt be! (:

BOO, we've only got one day of shopping.

YAY! we've got each other, meaning we've got fun (:
so that basically summarises the current situation.
yesterday i felt good, thinking i've never felt more prepared for milo cos we've never trained so much before. then after today's game i realised maybe we arent. yeah sure, we scored many goals. but the other team had breakthroughs meaning our defence is not quite there yet, meaning i'm making mistakes that we cant afford to have.
ahwell, one more friendly and one more training.

yesterday i stoned the whole day at home. havent done that in ages so even the long lost-est of friends wouldnt be able to get me to agree to go out.
today i planned on stoning but turned out otherwise.
could have gone to escape with jenny and friends, but i declined the 5bucks per ticket offer so i could go visit my gramps which i havent done in ages and wouldnt do till like xmas?
so church and then to my mum's side.
i think the family is really turning into some soap opera thing. but i wont deny its quite funny and adds a lil spice to life doesnt it. haha. but quite interesting if you ask me.
but i would say there's more than what meets the eye.
maybe i'm seeing it from the child's point of view.
then dad and i went off to his side of gramps while mum went shopping with her side. my dad made me play mahjong with the pros. like i love the game but i'm not quite that standard yet. but he forked the cash and i just sat there to play. though technically i didnt play much considering he told me 98% of the time what to do. but i won 71bucks! haha joy la. (:
went to eat after that at bugis.
met xinjin at sakae! mannn i miss that girl's nonsense.
then shopped abit more around there before going to concourse to shop for xmas decorations. we were served by these few st gabs boy. hahaha - had this boyish charm la! dang. but there was this other guy, and you knw what. i'm shutting up.
so busy busy busy week ahead.

didnt intend on going for training today. i mean we're finally given a break and all. but went anyway cos wanting called. met her at delta early and we kinda stoned, waiting for xinni before going to ccab.
met Lim and he said that rooming would be 3 per room. with regards to room mates, its undecided if we get a choice or they choose for us. but well, either's fine. i get where they're coming from.
so training was a friendly with jansenites. there werent enough players overall. so i ended up playing for jansenites for 2 out of 3 halves. i didn't really mind la. but it just kinda reminded me how much i miss playing with limin and xinni. and oh yes, how to play fun hockey.
wanting, i'm glad you told me what you did today. really. i know there's still something you're hiding from me and thats not all. maybe you just cant remember, but i really want to know everything. like i said, even if i sat there and cry, i'd still rather know.
i just want to say that - is still my good friend. this unspoken competition's killing me but i guess its just always gonna exist, for better or for worse. haha.

okay back from training not long ago.
today was 10 laps, which means 20 times of the interval runs.
those who had earlier trainings or games did just half of that.
so the game against the senior team wasnt so good.
the selection results was announced after that.
this year we're bringing 22 players - 4 train ons and 18 mains.
i think to most of us the selection wasnt quite fair, right or seemingly sane. i mean to have a name announced and have people go "huh who's that?" says alot doesnt it. people who have been coming for training and/or perform better are not selected. everything's just odd. like i think - and - should make it instead of -.
we're in pool A, consisting of Perak, Pahang, Negri Sembilan, Melaka and Sarawak. quite tough really. but the other group seems tougher, that is if i'm assuming there's only two pools. but well, take it as it comes.
the trip's scheduled from 17-25 dec (YES ON X'MAS) but i suppose if we dont get into semis we'll come back earlier as always. but i do wanna make history and get somewhere you knw. but things look pretty bleak.
we're staying at one of the hostels in their university and playing at an unheard of pitch. somehow i was wishing we were still playing at bukit jalil and staying at their hostel. but well, new place new experience.
well training everyday, excluding sundays.
i think we're not that bad really, but we still cant play as a team and we dont knw each other well enough. thats why we have passing issues and all. thats what we had in the past : no trainings but a hell lot of teamwork. things are just the opposite now.

back back back. from bangkok that is.
it was a good trip. somehow i enjoyed it alot though there werent any particular planned activities.
so we went there on the first day and the bad traffic cut short our shopping time.
next day was tournament and we were supposed to be there all day but last match was a walkover. team dinner was steamboat! Sia is super funny. her instructions were so bad it made Linda and Cookie do something so frigging hilarious. hahaha. a lil grocery shopping and back.
tournament again the next day plus a friendly match with the boys school cos they requested. went for a classic thai body massage. damn good but my left side hurts more and my right side is more ticklish. haha. then smart casual dinner for all the times at the club at night.
it was alright until i found out my purple turban (this really pro malaysian player!!!) didnt change which makes it pretty gross. and jude said i'm turning out like limin. hurrr.
and thn this thai girl came up to me and requested to change jersey with me cos i was wearing my combined schools red jersey so i jus agreed. we were walking to the toilet trying hard to make conversation and the bukit jalil boys stopped us to take photos. i dont think it was the boy i wanted but well. funny how upon hearing malay i actually felt close to home. haha. then we changed and i realised she wasnt changing and how huge the jersey was on me and she later said after i questioned desperately that it was a guy tht wanted to change shirt with me and yeah. he wore my shirt, came to shake my hand and took photos with me. i just really wanted to punch myself and him there and then. now my jersey's gone.
so anyone out there, if you do not want your red combined schools jersey, i'm willing to take it!
night market after that and tuk-tuked back.
super funny! pris koh went "who wants to take pic with the tuktuk?" and everyone ran in front of it to pose and then she went "now cant even see it anymore la." hahahaha okay i thought it was damn funny.
seniors went out to party so i went to sleep with pok and mummy choo.
breakfast at macs the next day and 2 hours of shopping.
braided just one strand of hair and bought quite a few tops.
packed up and it was back to singapore. nothing much.
i'm really thinking of stopping hockey this hols.
i love going abroad and away from everything here.
so, somehow i'm just praying i dont get selected.

prom last night was great.
it wasnt no sob sob affair as graduations are supposed to be, but it was fun. but honestly, anything is fun with the justicians. we create our own joy. and thats what i'm gonna miss really.
"okay now its time for the dessert buffet and you can go around and take photos", so everyone stands up and searches for their friends while we charge to the table and within minutes, we have every kind of dessert on our table. hahaha.
so after that was fun. some of us showered, played a little mahjong and got drunk. walking on the streets with 3 drunkards is no joking matter. its quite tiring looking out for them. but its super funny. proof that they were drunk?
jolene: "oh look, the leaf is standing! hahahahahaha"
huiyi: (while crossing the road) "i dont wanna die a virginnnnn!"
nat: (also while crossing the road, points to a car that has stopped for us) "AY get out of the car ah! come out come out!"
of course these are just one of the many weird things they said, and did.
and as expected, they dont remember any of it by the next morning.
so pictures will be up the next time i come back.
which will not be too soon cos i'm off to bangkok!
anyway, training today was disastrous.
or should i say selections.
if the team was chosen based on today's performance, i wouldnt have a hair's chance. but it shouldnt be considering it aint fair to the few of us who submitted ourselves to the daily torture the past two weeks and now those who came for 5 times less than us get to go and not us.
but if the world was fair, humans wouldnt quite exist.
